The Drupal Accessibility Topic Maintainers and other members of the Drupal community that want focus on accessibility will have this group as a place to come together and these bugs. All skill levels welcome!
Tasks we will be doing:
- Testing the issues in more depth with various assistive tech
- Improving the issue descriptions to make it easier for contributors to replicate and resolve
- Contributing bug fixing
- RBTCing (reviewing and testing by the community) contributed patches
Look for anything in the issue queue on drupal.org tagged with #accessibility and #Global2020.
But these aren't the only ones to look at... if you have a bug, issue, or something you want to review, you can also bring it up.
We have also been invited to tag the #bugsmash initiative to help out, so if we are able to provide the right documentation and context, we can send items their way.
Looking for sessions focused on accessibility?
There are some great accessibility sessions scheduled, covering topics around creating accessible patterns, authoring tool challenges, and accessibility considerations for cognitive disabilities. Check out the list of sessions tagged with "accessibility" on the DrupalCon schedule (you will have to check "accessibility" under tags yourself).
